“What if you demanded a … hostage of sorts?”

Sadly, today is the last day of the Heart Search: Betrayal blog tour *wipes tear from eye*. I’ve had a great time and I hope you have too. I’m so grateful to everyone who has given up time and space on their blogs for me – I wouldn’t have got the word out about the book without you.

HS trilogy new

So what have we got for you today? First there’s an interview I did with the lovely Sherry Fundin. I met Sherry through her sister, Laura, when I was launching the second book in the series, Heart Search: Found and she quickly became a fan of the books. We had fun on the interview so click here to read it.

Next up is Sherry’s sister, the wonderful Laura Thomas, who has written a review of Betrayal. Laura has been a staunch supporter of the series since my first blog tour for Heart Search: Lost. To read her review click here.

Thirdly, we have the fantastic Emma Biddulph. I’ve told you before about how I met Emma so I won’t bore you with the details again. Today she’s posting a great excerpt. Click here to read it.

Last, but certainly not least, is the fabulous Maria V A Johnson. She is my ‘partner in crime’ at Eagle Eye Editors and without her, this series might not have been written at all. I have so much to thank her for! Maria twisted my arm for a guest post, something I said I wouldn’t do this time around, but in all honesty, how could I say no? So check out ‘Saying Goodbye and Hello’ on her blog here.

You now have just under three hours to enter the giveaway, so you need to get your entries in NOW. It closes at midnight tonight GMT. Here’s the link again: a Rafflecopter giveaway

You still have time to enter the competition from yesterday’s blog for two eBooks of Heart Search: Betrayal. I’ll be accepting entries until midnight GMT on 28th February.

Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favour!

Deities Rule, Okay?

Yesterday we had one or two technical difficulties – the gods weren’t on our side so hence no post.

However, today they are playing nicely so I’m able to bring you two day’s worth of awesomeness instead of just one.

First up we have the lovely Sherry Fundin, who has an exciting excerpt for you. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a deity! Click here to read more.

Last evening, I was on Writer-Chat with the charming Gerald Hornsby. The last time he interviewed me, my webcam decided not to work so every time I spoke there was a black screen. Luckily that didn’t happen this time! Gerald and I discuss Heart Search: Betrayal, my latest work in progress, and editing. You can catch the entire interview here.

Today, my dear friend and fellow author at Myrddin Publishing, Connie J Jasperson pulled out a chair, plonked me in it, and grilled me for a time while tipping tea down my neck at fairly regular intervals. I’m only joking – she was the perfect hostess! Catch the interview here. On a more serious note, Connie is definitely an author to watch out for if you love fantasy – she writes some amazing stories and I love her work (and I’m not just saying that because I’m her main editor)!

Last, but by no means least, another awesome author and friend from Myrddin Publishing, Shaun Allan, has an excerpt where Remy gets let off the hook. But from what? You’ll have to read it to find out! Click here and join me in the asylum once again.

Catch you tomorrow!

Heart Search: Found – Cover Reveal and More . . .

When you see a cover reveal you know the novel isn’t far behind, and I’m excited to say Heart Search: Found is literally just a few days away. I also have some wonderful friends helping me with the launch and each one of them has something a little different on their blogs, so when you’ve seen everything here, I highly recommend you pop over to see what Donna L Sadd, Joy Keeney, Sherry Fundin, Deborah Jay and Maria V A Johnson, have in store for you.

In the meantime, I’ve got a real treat for my awesome followers, but you’ll have to scroll down to find all the goodies 😉

First though, my wonderful cover designer, Nicole Antonia Carro, has worked her magic again and I’m very proud to unveil . . .

Heart Search Found

Isn’t it AWESOME??

And now for the blurb:

One bite started it all . . .

Another mysterious disappearance sparks a frightening chain of events for Remy and her family. Events foretold come to pass, and more strange and alarming occurrences assail her life. Where can she turn?

Coven politics continue to threaten Joshua’s existence, but an even bigger menace looms . . .

And Remy’s life hangs in the balance – can Joshua save her?

Fate still toys with mortals and immortals alike, as hearts torn apart by darkness confront perils which could lead to their doom.

Intrigued yet?

Well, earlier in this post I did promise you a very special treat. A world exclusive of the prologue of Heart Search: Found – enjoy!

“Jakki sat at the table, a worried expression clouding her features. Her eyes flickered over the tarot cards spread before her, analysing every minute detail, desperately searching for another explanation, a different meaning to the one she saw.

Concern for Remy and the twins had driven her to seek answers from the cards. She had been receiving fragmented glimpses of events: a man with piercing green eyes, the children’s hands covered in a red substance, objects floating around a room, and Remy distraught over something. Jakki’s spirit guides weren’t showing her enough to allow her to make sense of it, so she had reached out through the tarot cards.

With a shaking hand, Jakki turned one more card and gasped. Colour drained from her skin, leaving it a pasty white. There was no mistaking the interpretation this time. The portent was crystal clear.

Jakki sobbed as the card fluttered from her fingers, landing face up on the table, staring back as if mocking her.

Death.”

I really hope you liked the prologue and it’s left you wanting more. Keep checking back – the book trailer is coming soon and I’ll have more news on the availability of Heart Search, book two: Found. Now go and see what the other blogs have in store for you!
